Terms of Use Clarification
It has been brought to my attention that there are many people, especially newbies,
who feel very confused about designers different Terms of Use and are unclear as to how they may use certain products.
I hope to make this easier for you to understand by clarifying a few points.
Every designers Terms of Use are different and impose different restrictions but all will either state CU, PU or CU4CU
on their products. I've listed below the different terms and what they actually mean and hope you find them useful.
PERSONAL USE (PU) ...
Anything you use that is shown as Personal Use means that only you can use that item for your own personal projects.
You cannot re-use any elements from a Personal Use item to recreate something new that you wish to share or sell with others.
You may not add anything from a Personal Use kit to your own kits or creations which you wish to share.
Personal use means only for you and no-one else.
COMMERCIAL USE FOR PERSONAL USE (CU4PU)...
Anything offered as CU4PU means that you can only sell your finished designs for personal use only.
You are not allowed to use any CU4PU products for commercial use.
If you wish to use my CU4PU or CU OK products commercially you must purchase a Commercial Licence
from my store first, otherwise they may only be used for selling as a Personal Use product only.

COMMERCIAL USE (CU) ...
Many people are confused about this term.
Anything you use that is shown as Commercial Use or CU OK does not mean that you can
create something new from that CU product to create your own CU product.
Anything you make from a CU kit/product can only be shared or sold as a Personal Use product
and cannot be re-sold as a Commercial Use product.
COMMERCIAL USE FOR COMMERCIAL USE (CU 4 CU) ...
If you wish to create things that you would like to share or sell as a commercial use product, only use products shown as CU4CU
or create your own designs from scratch and sell either as a PU, CU or CU 4 CU product!
Basically if you want to create something to share with others only use CU or CU 4 CU products. Never Personal use.
Always read the designers Terms of Use when you download their products or find their Terms of Use on their website or blog.
Most designers are quite aware that newbies find Terms of Use confusing and will often
guide you in the right direction so if you are ever unsure, always contact the designer.
